1. How does an Agency work?
We work much like temporary employment agencies. All work is contracted with outside vendors. The Agency presents its models to clients who are putting together some form of advertisement: commercial catalogs, magazine ads, product packaging, brochures, billboards, fashion shows, TV or Radio Ads, TV shows or movies. There are also informational presentations done in Video, CD or DVD, textbooks. These vendors will call an agency seeking models. Photos that fit the client’s specs are submitted for consideration. Then the client will hold an audition or set up an appointment. When the client has decided who they want, we will be contacted for a final proposal.
2. How do I apply for representation?
If you wish to submit for representation, please note that we receive many submissions. We will only contact you if we are interested in discussing further representation with you.
3. Must I have professional photographs?
At some point, for presenting composites, you will require professional pictures.
4. Will it cost me anything?
Models in Xs does not charge fees for representation, other than a percentage of any jobs we find for you. You may need to pay for professional photographs and you will need to provide composites cards to us.
5. Does signing with the Agency promise or guarantee work?
Not at all. There are many factors to reach success: talent, dedication, market needs, etc.
6. Does the Agency accept jobs for me?
Never. You (or your legal guardian) will have the final decision on what jobs to accept. The Agency will present the options for your final consideration.
